A love of homes, of home décor, of possibilities led Paula Nierman into the real estate business. Paula and her husband Matt bought their first home as a “fixer upper” and got the bug that motivated them to buy, rehab and rent several homes in the area. Wanting to discover more about the investment potential of real estate inspired Paula to become a full-time real estate agent where she specializes in residential and investment properties in the northwest suburbs. Paula says, “I love the excitement of the transformation that takes place. Even though real estate investing is hard work, it’s worth it!”
Paula was born and raised in the Chicago area, graduating from Northern Illinois University and working in various sales positions. “I have been successful because I truly care about people, helping them realize their vision and accomplish their goals. With that at my core, I find real estate a natural career for me.”

When not working in real estate, you can find Paula following her active daughters in cheerleading, tumble, tennis, swimming, skiing and softball, where she’s their biggest fan. She and her husband love playing golf and traveling to Mexico and the Caribbean. Next on Paula’s travel list are some of the natural wonders she’s yet to experience right here in the states!
A long-time resident of Hawthorn Woods, Paula is active in several neighborhood organizations, including volunteering for the Fremont Education Foundation, which provides diverse learning opportunities for teachers and students. When not in motion, you’ll find Paula relaxing with a good book and her Morkie, Boo.
